Yes. Manugram uses a 3-layer privacy system:

Platform level — you control whether your tree is public, visible to registered members, or fully private

That depends entirely on your privacy settings. If you set your tree to Private, only members you have approved can see it. If set to Members Only, any registered Manugram user can view it. Public trees are visible to everyone including search engines.

Yes. Passwords are stored using strong encryption (bcrypt hashing). We never store plain-text passwords. All connections to Manugram are secured via HTTPS.

The Family Feed is a private timeline shared exclusively with members of your family tree. You can post life updates, photos, announcements, and moments — visible only to people within your tree. Think of it as a private social feed just for your family.

It is a dedicated space to preserve life memories and milestones for each family member — birth, education, marriage, achievements, and more. These memories are attached to the member's profile and can be passed down to future generations.

अभिलेख पटल (Heritage Records) is Manugram's library for preserving family traditions, rituals, festivals, and cultural practices. You can document your community's customs — from संस्कार to पूजा-पद्धति — for generations to read and follow.

Yes. Each member profile supports a primary photo and an additional photo gallery. You can upload photos in JPG, PNG, or WebP format (max 2MB per photo).

No. Manugram is for every family — Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, or any other community. Our platform is completely religion-neutral and open to families from any background, religion, or region.

Manugram is fully bilingual — Hindi and English. Every form, field, and feature supports both languages. Names, professions, addresses, and notes can all be entered in Hindi (Devanagari) or English or both.

After logging in, click your name or avatar in the top-right corner → प्रोफ़ाइल संपादित करें. You can update your name, photo, birth year, profession, address, and privacy settings.

Go to the Forgot Password page, enter your email address, and we'll send you a password reset link. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.

Export features are on our roadmap. Currently you can view and print individual member profiles. Full tree export (PDF, GEDCOM) will be available in a future update.
